3D-printed sconce with integrated LED illumination, inspired by the natural geometries of microscopic diatoms.

Dimensions:  18.6"H x 5.6"W, 4.75" projection

Diatoms are single-cell algae organisms, ubiquitous throughout our oceans, sand and soils. Through photosynthesis, they play an integral part in dissolving carbon dioxide into water, converting light to energy and producing 40 percent of all oxygen. They are the perfect reference for our elegant and evocative Diatom Lighting Series, which interprets the delicate, intricate symmetrical structures of these unique organisms, illuminating them from within with LED lighting. Designed using a self-generative 3D design software, the CarbonShack Diatom series is inspired by the artwork and scientific investigations of 19th-century zoologist & naturalist Ernst Haeckel.

Our Arachis Diatom Sconce hangs vertically, has an integrated transformer and LED nodules, and is dimmable.

3D-printed shade of biodegradable 2-nylon-6 white nylon attaches to base the magnetically, for ease of assembly. Occasional light dusting recommended

PLEASE NOTE:

Please be advised that the white recycled nylon used in our products may experience yellowing over time. This natural process can be influenced by various factors, including exposure to light, environmental conditions, and usage patterns.

While we strive to provide high-quality materials, the yellowing of white recycled nylon is a characteristic that may occur and is beyond our control. This change in color does not affect the functionality or durability of the product.
